The Endoscopy Center

The Endoscopy Center is the first outpatient surgical Center in Northwest Ohio that specializes in Endoscopic procedures, specifically for Endoscopy and Colonoscopy procedures. We target these procedures because they generally involve a high volume of lower-risk procedures that can be performed in an outpatient setting on a safe and cost-effective basis. We offer the high level of quality, technology, comfort and convenience for patients having gastrointestinal procedures. Many patients prefer the individualized care and convenience at our Center rather than going to a hospital. The Center is located at 3439 Granite Circle, Toledo, Ohio in Sylvania Township. Our Center is handicap accessible with sufficient parking available and a comfortable family waiting room.

The Center's specialized staff includes 6 physicians all board-certified gastroenterologists who are practicing the most current endoscopic techniques.

Our Nursing staff is highly trained and focuses on providing quality care, patient privacy, comfort and safety to all patients.

Our Center is approximately 4,800 square feet consisting of two procedures rooms, admitting, recovery, reception and administrative areas. The Center is specifically tailored to meet the needs of Endoscopy procedures and typically performs 5,000-6,000 procedure per year. The Endoscopic procedures performed at the Endoscopy Center provide important information that helps our physicians diagnose and treat a variety of conditions and illnesses, including ulcers, intestinal bleeding, tumors and polyps.

Our center has been designed with a cost structure that enables us to charge fees which we believe are generally less than those charged by hospitals. Lower facility development cost, more efficient staffing and specialized operating environment focused on cost containment contribute to our ability to offer a cost effective alternative to other settings.

Our center functions in a way that provides patients and their families with the highest levels of comfort, privacy and convenience before, during and after procedures. Our process allows patients to move smoothly and quickly through their procedures, rather than being held up in "holding areas" as hospitals require.

Our Center is licensed, Medicare approved and "Accredited by the Joint on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations".
